We’ll gather on Christmas evening in the spirit of Winter Solstice — a quiet, grounding practice to honor the days just after the longest night. This sit is about rest, warmth, candlelight, and reconnecting with what’s steady inside us.
A soft pause in the middle of a tender season. All are welcome, however you arrive.

*All Proceeds will go to the SFH Scholarship fundCome spend the final hours of the year in community, grounding into presence and turning toward what really matters. This evening is a simple, heart-centered way to close the year with reflection, release, and intention.
We’ll begin with a Sit.Feel.Heal. “Arriving” practice to settle the body and land in the moment. From there we’ll reflect on the past year, what we’re ready to let go of, what we’re grateful for in our growth, and what we want to cultivate in the months ahead.
The core of the evening is a silent three-knot String Ceremony, adapted from the Buddhist refuge tradition and offered here as a personal ritual of presence. With each reflection, we tie one knot in the string. Then we ask the person next to us to help tie the string around our wrist—a reminder of the support and community around us.
We’ll close with an optional candle-lighting and spoken intention, a moment of quiet witnessing as we step into a new year.
A gentle close to one cycle, and an intentional beginning of the next.
Open to everyone—new meditators and long-time practitioners alike.
